I'm proud to announce that the WTTW's "DuSable to Obama: Chicago's Black Metropolis" was nominated for 3 Emmy's. I had the honor of providing the theme song titled "Off In Chicago," as well as interviewing for this historic film. Awards aren't needed to determine the value that was provided by this work of art, but at the same time, it is exciting that it is being acknowledged. With that said, keep your fingers crossed and if you haven't seen the film, definitely check it out. It's a must see... Shout Out to Barbara Allen!!
