Today was a good day! It always is when you get the chance to get out and talk to the kids. Earlier today I was invited out by Israel Idonije of the Chicago Bears to perform for his banquet dinner at the Hilton Chicago. The festivities were to honor and celebrate 5-7th grade students who have maintained a perfect or near perfect attendance throughout the school year. The kids were very excited to be there and pleased to hear the words of Izzy, Mr. Tommie Wilburn, owner of Moo & Oink, Mayor Daley, who was also in attendance to support the kids, myself, and all of the teachers, who were there to represent their schools. All in all, it was a great time and I was proud to be apart of a monumental moment for these future leaders...
