New Poem
This past Sunday my guy Jamie Owens married his beautiful new wife Crystal Sai. As part of the celebration, Jamie, who is an AMAZING singer, asked be to collaborate with him on a dedication song during the ceremony. Along with Jeremiah Abiah, who was on keys, we took to the stage and delivered a very heartfelt moment. The ceremony will appear on the TLC network at a later date, but for now hear is the poem I presented.

The dream hasn’t been deferred,
Because it was heavenly referred,
Reserved in our hearts,
Heard by souls that were willing to listen,
Willing to pay attention to the finest detail,
In the mist of the doubters our instincts prevailed,
Our love succeeded where others failed…derailed,
Because our thoughts were trained by faith,
I believe in us,
I’ve planted seeds of trust that have grown from grace,
When we locked eyes, I instantly felt safe,
With the combination of your spirit, beauty, and love,
It was natural to see GOD in your face,
I hear angels sing within the walls of our embrace,
I pray that you never take your love away…

J, your gift is one that continues to evolve. I can hardly believe I have known you and watched this amazing growth. This piece is magnificent, then again everything your voice speaks it truly amazing.
